Hello, I'm the Manipulated Bard. I'm not quite an artist, well, at least not like most of the members of DeviantART. I'm a student pastry chef, I suppose if you'd like to stretch it, I'm a food artist. I practice all kinds of different art forms to make me unique in the pastry field from pottery to jewelry making. I've made all kinds of crazy things, like cakes that are topped with marzipan to look like a arctic landscape, I've made colorful angelfish centerpieces out of hardened boiled sugar, and I've burned myself so many times that I've started naming the scars.
Ah, right, so I've started drawing quite a bit. I have no scanner, but my school's computer lab has one to help get me started. I have a lot of trouble drawing with only my mind's eye, so I usually either have someone pose for me, or find some pictures online to help me along, of course I don't copy anything but general poses.
I hope you enjoy the art I submit. I will be uploading everything from sketches to pictures of my latest cakes.
